The artist Gunther Uecker is presented by Gallery Zimmermann & Heitmann Gunther Uecker was born in Mecklenburg in 1930 and is one of the most famous German painters and object artist. Uecker was famous mainly for his paintings of nail that already during his studies at the Art Academy in Dusseldorf. These nail pictures achieve a dynamic effect due to their relief-like surface.
